Architectonic structures

Cesar Pelli Tower in Milan Porta Nuova Garibaldi: from March 2009 to October 2011, in addition to the design and constructive drawings, CDC realized the production, in collaboration with Famar s.r.l. and the assembly on site (with the use of the helicopter) in collaboration with Seval s.r.l.. It is a spire that, starting from the roof of the building at a height of 145 m. above the ground, rises to 85m reaching 230m. The structure is covered with spires made of microperforated metal sheet in stainless steel and it is fully illuminated and heated to prevent ice formations, which could be dangerous if they detach and could also compromise the stability and security of the tower.
